Crisis Relief
Monsoon Flood Response
Growing up in Golakandail, I witnessed firsthand how devastating the monsoon season could be. When urban flooding turned our streets into rivers and made homes unlivable—with knee-deep water inside living rooms—I couldn't stay idle. Alongside a group of friends, I took the initiative to help families relocate. We moved furniture, belongings, and people to safer ground, ensuring that those whose homes were no longer habitable had a way to reach security. This experience taught me the raw reality of logistics under pressure and the importance of immediate, local action.

Dengue & Public Health
When the Dengue epidemic hit our community, the challenge shifted from physical relocation to medical logistics. We acted as frontline helpers for affected families who were often overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. My role involved providing transportation assistance to get patients to clinics and maintaining a consistent "check-in" system. We took regular news of their recovery, offered advice on hydration and care, and acted as a vital communication link between patients and resources during a time of high anxiety and medical strain.

COVID-19 Committee
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I moved into a more organized leadership role by forming a 15-member committee dedicated to public safety. We focused on two fronts: awareness and supply. My team and I raised 25,000 BDT from the community, which we utilized to distribute masks and sanitation supplies to those who couldn't afford them. Beyond the physical supplies, we ran awareness campaigns to educate neighbors on safety protocols. This project was my first major lesson in fundraising, committee management, and large-scale community coordination.
